2. Daily Data Files

The EDN network data, along with miscellaneous data,
was stored in data folders; one for each day. Exceptions were the
daily sounding analysis, and cloud model runs. These were filed
with the plotted Skew-T charts in a separate upper air file.

3. Aircraft Data

Seeding reports consist of pilots log of seeding
release points, times, and amounts, along with a map showing the
seeding locations. Cloud sampling data consists of the raw data
cassette tapes. These were delivered to Aero Systems, Inc., by
the Kansas Water Resources Board for printout.

4. Radar Echo Recordings

The 35mm PPI scope photographs taken during April,
May and June are on file with the Muddy Road IV project records.

Beginning in July hard copy printouts were made of
the computer generated displays of both the PPI and Rill. These
were made at approximately 20 minute intervals when seeding
operations were in progress. Hard copy printouts were stored in
the daily data folders.

Those PPI and Rill series of recordings which showed
. good potential for later study were retained on computer disk packs,
as identified in the data inventory, Appendix B.

5. Rainfall and Hail Damage Reports

There was no organized effort on the part of Muddy
Road IV's field team to .c_oll~!precipitation data. Programs are
presently underway in the Kansas Water Resources Board to compile

13
