The data indicate that wind flow regimes <br />ranging from those with winds blowing from the south through west through north are <br />most common for the winter storms producing precipitation (water content) of half an <br />inch or greater in or near the target area. This indication influenced consideration of <br />prospective control areas and sites for this evaluation analysis.
