I <br /> <br />Figure 1 (a) shows the 11 counties participating in the 1990 <br />WKWM Program. Figure 1 (b) shows the various combinations of 16 <br />counties in west-central and southwest Kansas that have <br />participated in a cloud seeding program now known as the Western <br />Kansas Weather Modification (WKWK) Program since 1915. There have <br />been 5 counties and part of a 6th continuously participating in the <br />WKWM Program since 1975 as shown in Figure 1 (c). The continuously <br />participating counties are the counties around which future <br />meaningful information regarding weather modification success or <br />failure will be mast relevant. <br /> <br />I . <br /> <br />.
