Box 679 <br />Loveland, Colorado 80539 <br /> <br />PROJECT: Commercial seeding operation of winter storm clouds With <br />ground based cloud nuclei generators to augment snow for <br />enhanced runoff forwater supply purposes. <br /> <br />TARGET AREA: The target area is the Willow Creek drainage basin upstream of <br />Willow Creek Reservoir, Grand County, Colorado. <br /> <br />PERMIT SOUGHT: Original permit pursuant to S 36-20-112, CRS, for a time period <br />of five year's duration from the date of the public hearing <br />pursuant to S 36-20-1l4,CRS. <br /> <br />OPERATION: . The applicant did not inteilcl to operate during the first year <br />(1997-1998). During the second through fifth years, the <br />applicant has proposed to begin operations November 1 and <br />continue for seven months through May 31. <br /> <br />PERSON IN CHARGE: The person proposed to be in charge of the project is Don A. <br />Griffith, Senior Vice President and General Manager of North <br />American Weather Consultants of Sandy, 1Jtah. <br /> <br />ACTION TO BE TAKEN: The findings will be the basis for a decision to either grant the <br />permit, grant the permit subject to conditions, or deny the permit <br /> <br />DELEGATION OF A1JTHORITY <br /> <br />This application was acted upon by the Director of the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />pursuant to the delegation of authority by the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of <br />Natural Resources on September 25, 1987 and reaffirmed October 14, 1992. <br />
