Part of this I will just read from the <br /> <br />Application for a Permit. "The nature of the program _ <br /> <br />is to increase natural precipitation within the project <br /> <br />boundaries, provide beneficial runoff into local resevoirs. <br /> <br />"The objective of the operation are to incr~ase <br /> <br />snow pack in the watersheds of the Grand Mesa target that <br /> <br />should result in an increased runoff into the resevoirs <br /> <br />and lakes for irrigation, industry needs and domestic <br /> <br />consumption. " <br /> <br />Q And would you please tell us a bit about what <br /> <br />areas might be reasonably expected to be affected, including <br /> <br />the principal target area? <br /> <br />A Looking at the map that is attached, also, to the <br /> <br />Application for a Permit, I have indicated the area that <br /> <br />will be the target area in solid, and the re~, another <br /> <br />area that I've indicated as B, extends almost to twenty <br /> <br />miles beyond the forward edge of the target boundary. <br /> <br />By forward edge, I'm talking about prevailing <br /> <br />winds, for the most part, being from the west through south, <br /> <br />southwest. <br /> <br />And, in fact, we have no generators located to the <br /> <br />SUZANNE M.
