<br /> <br />State of Colorado <br />Weather Modification Permit <br /> <br />Permit No. 98-1 <br /> <br />PERMITTEE: Western Kansas Groundwater Management District No.1 <br />P.O. Box 604 <br />Scott City, Kansas 67871 <br /> <br />PERMITTED PROJECT: Commercial seeding op'eration for hail suppression using cloud base <br />and cloud top aircraft which may seed with any of the following <br />agents to generate ice nuclei: a silver iodide-acetone solution, dry ice, <br />and pyrotechnics. The area over which the applicant will be allowed <br />to conduct seeding operations in Colorado shall be as described in <br />item 2 of the "Terms and Conditions" herein. <br /> <br />PERIOD OF PERMIT: ' Final approval is hereby given for operations from April 22, 1998 <br />through September 21, 1998, with conditional approval given for <br />future year's operations from April 22 through September 21 of 1999, <br />2000, 2001, and 2002, subject to the permit renewal requirements of <br />section 36-20-114(2), CRS., and of the Colorado Weather <br />Modification Rules and Regulations, 2 CCR 401-1. This permit shall <br />automatically terminate no later than September 21, 2002. <br /> <br />1 <br />
