The storm tracked to the northeast into <br />southwestern KearnyCounty then further northeast before becoming <br />non-severe. In the interim since the earlier flights ended, cooling <br />of the easterly upslope winds caused the formation of low cloud <br />bases---around 400 feet---much too low for safely conducting any <br />cloud base seeding activity. The cloud top was airborne at 9:38 <br />p.m. and was able to do some limited seeding on the storm as it <br />passed over central Kearny County. By 10:44 p.m. the storm was <br />weak and the cloud top plane returned 'to its base <br /> <br />Curtis D.
