To understand how the general area around the target faired with snowpack water
content, an isopleth analysis of the percent of normal water content of the April I , 1995
snowpack was developed (Figure 5.2). Table 5-3 shows the specific numbers for the
NRCS sites used in this analysis. In general, the higher elevation to the west of the
"Front Range" had percents of normal between 80 and 100. These numbers dropped off
rather quickly on the east side of the "Front Range".
