This <br />permit has a duration of five years, In future years, you will need to submit an annual report, a <br />valid certificate of general liability insurance, a current list of contacts, and the 2% annual <br />operations fee. <br /> <br />In reviewing your application, we recognize that the use of cannons to mitigate hail <br />damage is an unproven technology still in the development stage, Although we believe the <br />program poses only minimal risk, the granting of the permit should not be considered as an <br />official state endorsement of the technology, We believe further scientific evaluation of the <br />process in the laboratory and in the field is needed, <br /> <br />After 5 years, you may apply to renew the permit for a I O-year period subject to the <br />permit renewal requirements of section 36-20-114(2), CRS, and subject to the Colorado Weather <br />Modification Rules and Regulations. A decision to renew the permit will depend on a review of <br />your operations during the term covered by this permit and other data as appropriate. <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
