PROJECT:

Commercial operation of hail suppression device (commonly referred to as
a "Hail Cannon") using sequenced sound waves to produce a cavitation effect
in the ice forming areas of cumulus cloud formations to inhibit the formation
of ice particles and cause the moisture to fall as rain rather than hail.

TARGET AREA:

The target areas includes portions of:

Township 2 North, Range 66 West, Section 34; a part of the NorthWest Y. (East of Fort Lupton, Colorado)
Township 3 North, Range 56 West, Section 10, a part of the NorthEast Y. (South of Brush, Colorado)

DURATION:

The operation is proposed to begin upon the issuance of the Permit in
August, 1998 to be effective for year-round operations and in subsequent
years thereafter for such time as the Permit remains valid and in effect.

PERSON IN CHARGE:

The person in charge of the project is Matthew B. Cook, Executive Vice
President of Colorado Greenhouse, Inc,

PERMIT SOUGHT:

An original permit pursuantto c.R.S, ~ 36-20-112,

ACTION TO BE TAKEN:

The findings will be the basis for a decision to either grant the permit, grant the permit
subject to conditions, or deny the permit.

This application was acted upon by the Director of the Colorado Water Conservation Board pursuant to the
delegation of authority to him from the Executive Director of Colorado Department of Natural Resources,
