<br />b, If the County Commissioners have not designated a newspaper for <br />pUblishing legal notices, the required notice shall be posted <br />, in at least three public places in the county. Posting shall <br />be not more than fourteen days nor less than seven days before <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />c. Affadavits provided by newspaper publishers, radio or <br />television station managers, or sheriffs are sufficient proof <br />of publ1cation, <br /> <br />(4) Evaluating Permit Applications <br /> <br />Information provided on form WM2 will be used by the Executive <br />Director to decide if a permit should be granted, Advice given by <br />the Weather Modification Advisory Committee and testimony offered <br />at public hearings or by letters also will be used and the <br />Executive Director may request additional information from the <br />applicant. <br /> <br />(5) Granting of Permits <br /> <br />Permits typically shall be granted for a maximum of one year, but <br />exceptions may be made for projects scheduled to last up to 18 <br />months, Permits may be renewed each year for up to five years if <br />conditions under which the permit was issued have not changed <br />sUbstantially and if a request for a hearing has not been filed <br />with the Executive Director. <br /> <br />C. Reports <br /> <br />(1) The permitee shall keep a log (which includes the information <br />required by Form WM3) at the project office ,avallable for <br />inspection by the public during normal working hours. Inspection <br />of the log by the public shall not interfere with the project. <br /> <br />4 <br />
