Section 9 directing the transfer of projects, property and functions of <br />existing ugencies of the Federal Governr.~nt in the Columbia ffasin to the Corporation, <br />is mo.terially changed. The old Bill. S. 1716. sets forth tho terms and conditions <br />under which the Bonnoville Project, Hungry Horse Dam. U~~tilla Projoct. irwluding <br />the McNnry Dam, Snako Rivor project o.nd the Columbi~ Basin prejoct, would be tro.ns- <br />ferred, controlled and operuted by the Corporution. 'The Tayler Bill does net name <br />these projects but in bIlOD.d lo.nguago provides that the "use. possossion. control <br />and operation of any dum or water control project, together with the appurtenant <br />works and transmission facilities. including power works, trunsmission facilitios. <br />constructed cr under construction, or heroafter constructed by or in bohalf of the <br />United Statos, or its instrumcntulities, shall be transferred to the Corporatien". <br /> <br />The President is also authorized to trunsfer to the Corporation such <br />other real or personal property of the United States or any agency thoroof. and <br />"o.ny functions. duties. p~rors, und responsibilities conferred by law upon any <br /> <br />..3- <br />
