Walcher <br />Executive Director <br /> <br />MEETING SUMMARY FOR MAY 14, 2003 Rod Kuha,ich <br />This report presents infonnation and findings from the Colorado Flood Task Force (FrF) CWCB Directm <br />and Water Availability Task Force (W ATF) joint meeting for the 2003 season, Meeting Dan McAuliffe <br />participants include various local, state and federal officials and private sector experts, Deputy Directm <br />Larry Lang is the Chair of the Flood Task Force and Brad Lundahl is the Chair of the W A TF. The FrF <br />meets during prime flood season (April through September) to coordinate flood related activities, monitor <br />extreme weather conditions and share program infonnation and assistance opportunities, The W A TF meets <br />year round to monitor and coordinate drought impacts and conditions, The meetings always includes short- <br />tenn and long-tenn weather forecasts; spring and summer precipitation and flood/drought outlooks and new <br />developments in local, state, and federal agency programs, This report represents a summary of the <br />presentations and discussions for the meeting, PowerPoint presentations are included with the graphs of <br />conditions that were presented at the meeting and reside on the CWCB website at <br />http://cwcb,state,co.us/flood watch/, For questions about the Colorado Flood Task Force call Larry F.
