<br />The meeting was held on Tuesday, January 28, 2003, at the R.E.I. Flagship Store
<br />Conference Room in Denver. Those in recorded attendance included: Brad Lundahl,
<br />Jack Byers, Bill Hansen, Jeff Tranel, Keith Vander Horst, Robin Knox, Klaus Wolter,
<br />Bob Glancy, Mike Gillespie, Jack Truby, JeffBrislawn, Bob Steger, Matt Knoedler, Scott
<br />Archer, Roger Herandez, Lenny Manzangres, Roger Pielke, Sr., Brett N. Rodewald, Dave

<br />Meeting began at 1:00 P.M.

<br />Brad Lundahl. Colorado Water Conservation Board. W ATF Chair
<br />Brad Lundahl welcomed the group to the meeting with opening remarks. He set the next
<br />two Water Availability Task Force meeting dates (February 19 and March 19) and
<br />locations. In addition, he explained that the Colorado Water Conservation Board's Water
<br />Supply and Drought Assessment Project had been officially started on Monday, January
<br />27. The project is designed to determine Colorado's ability to withstand drought and will
<br />involve a survey with 700 to 1000 water users. Mr. Lundahl requested during the
<br />meeting, that the Impact Task Force chairs meet to discuss and plan for the impacts of the
<br />continued drought. He requested that the Task Force chairs meet on Monday, February
<br />10, 2003 at the Division of Wildlife Headquarters.

<br />Mr. Knoedler explained that he will no longer be the Governor's representative to the
<br />W ATF and that John Swartout will be the new representative for the Task Force
<br />beginning February 3.
<br />
<br />He indicated the Governor was very concerned about the drought conditions. A
<br />discussion ofFEMA disaster policy was discussed at the National Western Governor's
