Water flows in streams generally <br />are at the 75-80% ofoonna1, with sufficient \\later to maintain fish and other aquatic <br />wildlife populations. At this time there is concern for the Rio Grande, which is very 10\,,', <br /> <br />Reservoir water le\'els remain below average, ranging from 37% to 89% ofnomlal. <br />With a continuation of less than normal precipitation this winter, reservoir fisheries wil] <br />continue to be at risk. Currently there are a number of reservoirs that are vcry low, <br />including Rio Grande, Sanchez, Continental and Santa Maria reservoirs in the San Luis <br />Valley; John Martin res. . Jackson res., and Prewitt reservoir. <br /> <br />NceSoPah (Sweetwater) Reservoir in the great plains system experienced a fish kill this <br />summer, but on a brighter note, Two Buttes and John Martin gained water that will allow <br />them to be stocked with wann water fish later this Fall <br />
