Brad Lundahl: I would like to welcome everybody, and thank you for attending, Again, this is the
water availability task force, and its been a month since we met last, and things have changed a
little bit, I'd like to say things have gotten a lot better, but I think we'll probably hear that that
may not be the case, I'd like to thank the Division of Wildlife for providing this room, we had
some last minute changes and so we were scrambling to fmd a space, and DOW jumped right up
and said we have space available, and it is kind of a big room, And we are going to record this
session so that our minutes can be accurate and precise, and so, if you can, when you speak, try
and speak loudly and get as close to the microphone as you can,

Generally, we've had news clips that we hand out at these meetings, there has been tremendous
press coverage about the drought, and we decided to forgo printing all of those and handing them
out, I think I've killed enough trees lately, and unless anyone has objections, we probably will not
make these available at this time, If you want or need those, let me know, and I can get copies for
you, but just in the interest of saving some resources, I won't,

As most of you know, we do have some fires buming, Rich Homman is supposed to show up and
give us a quick presentation, he's very busy and active on the fire lines, so as soon as he gets here
we'll probably break for him and let him give us an update, and then let him get back out of here
for attending the fire emergencies,

- He's trying to reduce the request for the declarations, which was turned down,

Brad: We also should have Matt Knoedler coming by in a little bit from the Governor's office, to
give us an update on what the Governor is thinking, and as soon as he gets here we'll go ahead and
have Matt speak as well, If you look at the agenda items at 2:20 and 2:40, we have Impact Task
Force Recommendations, which some of you or most of you should be familiar with, And what
we're going to is to combine 2:20 and 2:40 and have kind of a roundtable discussion to talk about
where we are with recommendations, what we know, and what we can do to start implementing
those recommendations, I talked to some of you about this, but haven't had a chance to get to all
of you, so between now and 2:20 you might want to be thinking about how we're going to handle
these recommendations, I see Matt Knoedler just came in, we'll give him a minute to get his
thoughts together, he's rushing around,

Brad: Once you get your blood sugar back up, and we'll give you a minute or two, With all the
talk of conservation and what we folks do, I know I've been getting calls almost daily on that, I
wanted to spend a couple of minutes and kind of add something to the agenda, We have
