2004 CPRA DROUGHT
ISSUE SURVEY

We will most likely be implementing the same policies as last year. A reduction in
irrigation schedules. No additional games for current users and no new permits issued
for field use to outside agencies or groups.

Dave Lee - City of Englewood

Grand Junction is in good shape. Irrigation companies are forecasting adequate water
supplies for this season based on snow pack and storage capacity. City and the
department have a plan that will be implemented in phases, if drought creates issues as
season progresses.

Joe Stevenson - City of Grand Junction

Greeley is allowed to water Golf courses and Parks that have Sporting events
scheduled,..ie soccer, high school baseball all other watering held off untiI4-15.....and
this could be adjusted if the water dept makes the call, but we are just ready and
waiting.

Ron Williams - City of Greeley

The Parks Division with the City of Thornton has been told by our Water Resources
Division that we will receive information on drought impacts between April 15 and May
1. I am not sure if we will have mandatory watering restrictions or not. Sorry I can't
really help you at this time.

Andy Jennings - City of Thornton

At our most recent Water Conservation Committee (March) meeting at the Town of Erie,
our Public Works Dept has recommended that we begin our outdoor watering season
on voluntary water restrictions for our Parks Department, HOAs and our citizens. Our
voluntary restrictions are not mandatory and suggest watering 2 days per week from
7pm to 7 am. At this time our water supplies for summer 2004 look adequate and we
do not anticipate mandatory water restrictions at this time.

Ron Fletcher - Parks Superintendent Town of Erie

, 't<-1<.J.,,"r
I .
