Basinwide CondJliQflS Assessment
The SWSI value of +0.2 indicates lhat for January
the basin water supplies were normal. The NatUl'aI
Resources ConservallOfl Se-vice reports that February 1
snowpack IS 103% of normaL Flow at the gaging statIOn
Ammas River near Durarlgo was 16B cfs. as compared to
the long-term average of 210 cfs Storage Ir1 McPhee.
ValleCtlo. and lemon reservoirs totaled 67% of normal as. of
the end of January.

The water supply situation in DiVision Seven
remained positive this month as the snow accumulation kepi
pace with average increases. The end of month snow- water
content showed 107% of normat, the highes.t basin in the
slale, The snow courses opefated by DIVision Seven in the
La Ptata mountains had accumulated well over 50% of the
total water needed for an average year.
Although stream nows remained welt below normal
and rese-VQlr storage carry over in general was poor.
prospects of a good starl on the runoff were improved
be(;8use of the general low elevallon snow accumulallQfl not

Vallecito reservoir and Narragiunnep reservoirs were
at nOfmat levels or better. Other reservoirs had sIQnificant
vacancies and needed a good runoff for a normal supply
