Continued <br /> <br />The improved water supply system should provide adequate water <br /> <br />supply service to the current 211 equivalent residential taps. <br /> <br />Since the water to be available in the future would not exceed <br /> <br />about 80 gpcd. it is reco~nended that no meters be installed as a part <br /> <br />of the proposed project. <br /> <br />RECO~~ffiNDATION <br /> <br />The residents of the Brook Forest Water District currently face <br /> <br />extreme hardships during the winter seasons because of the inability <br /> <br />of their water supply system to provide adequate service. The district <br /> <br />has limited fire protection. The proposed improvements will eliminate <br /> <br />the problems and allow an orderly but limited growth in the area to be <br /> <br />served. <br /> <br />preliminary contacts have been made with the Farmers Home <br /> <br />Administration (FmHA) and other agencies. Initial indications are that <br /> <br />portions of the required financing may be ~btained only through private <br /> <br />financing. Thus the proposed financing for the project is as follows: <br /> <br />Total <br /> <br />$250.000 <br />250,000 <br />$500,000 <br /> <br />Private Financing through Bonds <br /> <br />State Funds (to be repaid by use charges) <br /> <br />Under the proposed financing arrangement. water use charges in the <br /> <br />amount of $12,630 would be levied annually by the state for forty years <br /> <br />for a total charge of $505.200. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />. <br />
