Western Fremont and Custer Counties. The District has <br />operated the North Fork Reservoir since 1979. for domestic, municipal, industrial, recreational and <br />augmentation purposes. The reservoir is at elevation 11,400 feet and is located 10 miles from MaysviJIe <br />on the North Fork of the South ArKansas River. The District plans to repair the outlet gate. improve the <br />access for construction, increase the spillway capacity, mitigate seepage along the right abutment, and <br />raise the dam height by 15 feet. This will increase the capacity of the reservoir from 595 AF to 1095 AF. <br />The enlargement will also require the relocation of portions of a campground. The reservoir is located on <br />Forest Service property and currently has a Special Use Pennit authorizing the repair worle The <br />enlargement work vv11l require a NEPA study prior to Forest Service permitting. <br />~..d' <br />.
