Lagging patterns were
determined by modeling hypothetical wellhead depletions and accumulating the first twelve monthly
lagged stream depletions into the plan year depletion factor. The post plan year depletion factor is
equal to one minus the plan year depletion factor. Table 8a shows the distribution of replacement
requirements between plan year and post plan year for each use pattern (irrigation or municipal) and
for each user group (Gray Area ditch assignment). Table 8b shows the same information for each
use pattern and for each SDF value assigned to wells in the Blue and White Areas.

Estimated annual plan year and post plan year replacement requirements for each individual

well in the plan are shown in the last two columns of Appendix B. Using the factors shown in Table

8 and the total depletions shown in Appendix B, AGUA's estimated individual well post plan year

replacement requirements total 2,932 acre-feet. This compares to 3,249 acre-feet of post plan year

replacement requirements determined using the stream depletion models as described in Section 5.2.

The estimated plan year and post plan year replacement requirements described in this section are

used only for the purpose of estimated the plan year/post plan year split for each individual well.

G:\3ln _OO3\REPORTS\AGUA97 _1.RPT

15

PrintedFebruary27,I997
