During the licensing process FERC is required to consider a variety <br />of environmental and hydrologic impacts caused by storage and diversion of water for <br />hydropower and to impose license terms that protect these values, Such license terms could <br />modify historical hydropower diversions leading to claims of saved water, <br /> <br />14 <br />
