COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD
102 Columbine Building
1845 Sherman Street
Denver, Colorado 80203

February 20, 1975

"

M E M 0 ! A ] DUM

TO: Members of Colorado Water Conservation Board.

FROM: Felix L. Sparks, Director.

SUBJECT: Agenda item number 5, Colorado Water Conservation Board
Construction Fund - Board Meeting, February 26, 1975.

There has been previously sent to the board members a
proposed publication entitled, '~uidelines for Assistance in the
Conservation and Utilization of Colorado's Water Resources through
the Colorado Water Conservation Board Construction Fund." The policy
expressed in those guidelines is the same policy previously approved
by the board in the form of a mimeographed publication. However
before the new publication is distributed, it should be acted upon by
the board and this is the reason for its inclusion as an agenda item
for the next board meeting.

Numerous applications have been received for the use of the
construction fund. Most of these applications are in the various
stages of processing. Three applications have been completely processed
and the staff of the board has made its recommendations thereon. These
recommendations are that the board approve and request appropriations
for the following projects in the listed order of priority.

1. Allenspark project - $ 200,000
2. Meeker project 900,000
3. Gunnison project 350,000
Total $1,450,000

A brief description of each project is enclosed herewith.

FLS :mm
Enclosures

......
