In the case of infants, this can be quite danger- <br /> <br />ous. <br /> <br />In addition to the need for a new source of raw water, the <br /> <br />town is in need of a new storage tank to supplement the existing <br /> <br />50,000 gallon elevated tank and also of additional distribution <br /> <br />pipelines to improve the system operation and service pressures. <br /> <br />It should be noted that practically all 120 of the town's <br /> <br />water system users are metered. <br /> <br />CURRENT STATUS <br />In June 1977, the town of Nunn submitted an application to <br /> <br />the Colorado Water conservation Board for assistance in solving <br /> <br />its existing water problem. Subsequently, Hydro-Triad, Ltd., Denver, <br /> <br />Colorado, was authorized to prepare a feasibility report to evaluate <br /> <br />possible methods of providing an adequate water supply to the town <br /> <br />of Nunn. This feasibility report constitutes the basis for the <br /> <br />project summary contained herein. <br /> <br />It is expected that various federal agencies, including the <br /> <br />Farmers Home Administration, will be contacted in the near future <br /> <br />to explore the availability of grant and loan funds that may become <br /> <br />available for the project. <br /> <br />PROPOSED PROJECT <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The selected alternative for solving the water quality problem in <br /> <br />-2- <br />
