Pursuant to Section 39-29-109 (I) (3) (I), CRS. the Colorado Water Conservation Board has
recommended legislative authorization to provide loans from the Severance Tax Trust Fund
Perperual Base Account totaling $5.94 million to fund 3 water development projects statewide in
1998. These projects are listed in Table 5 in priority order as suggested by the Board. Each loan
represents partial funding of the total cost of the projects. Additional details about these
recommended projects may be found in Appendix C.

a project due to differing or unforseen site conditions. errors or omissions in the plans and
specifications, changes instituted by regulatory agencies. or changes in material quantities beyond
contract limits.
