Feasibility Study Project Type: Dam Construction <br /> <br />County: El Paso <br /> <br />Drainage Basin: Arkansas Water Source: Oak Creek <br /> <br />Total Study Cost: $898,000 <br /> <br />Funding Sources: Town of Coal Creek, <br />Williamsburg, Rockvale, Florence and the <br />U.S. Army Corps of Engineers <br /> <br />This project is a feasibility study for the Oak Creek Reservoir, located west of the Town <br />of Florence in Fremont County: The Corps of Engineers will perform the study for the <br />Town of Florence with financial participation from the Towns of Williamsburg, Coal <br />Creek and Rockvale. The stUdy will analyze the technical, financial and economic <br />feasibility of construction of this new reservoir and will identify the costs and benefits of <br />reservoir relative to water supply storage and flood control. The study is scheduled to be <br />completed within 2-3 years. <br /> <br />
