Walker <br />Deputy Director <br /> <br />FROM: Bill McDonald <br /> <br />DATE: January 3, 1983 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Agenda Item 8, January 6-7, 1983, Board Meeting-- <br />Consideration of Project Authorizations <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />We have previously mailed to you brief summaries for six <br />projects: <br /> <br />Buckeye Reservoir (rehabilitation) <br />Fuchs Ranch Dam (rehabilitation) <br /> <br />Great Western Dam (rehabilitation and enlargement) <br /> <br />Harper Lake (enlargement) <br />Hertha Reservoir (enlargement) <br /> <br />Hyannis Da~ (new facility) <br /> <br />The Grand Mesa project has been withdrawn from consideration <br />for authorization at this time at the choosing of the Grand Mesa <br />Water Conservancy District. The district has concluded, and I <br />concur, that further work is needed in order to complete a full <br />feasibility study for this project. The district expects to <br />formally requrest funding for the needed addi tional 'Nork from the <br />Development Authority at its February meeting.
