<br />(2)(a) The petition shall set forth: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />32 <br /> <br />(2) In addition to such forms of organization. whenever <br />in the opinion of the board of directors of said district it <br />is feasible and necessary that ditches, canals, reservoirs or <br />other works which benefit only a part of the district should <br />be constructed, a local improvement district or subdivision. <br />or as many of such local improvement districts as may be <br />necessary may be created as provided in this article. Said <br />local improvement district. when organized under the provi- <br />sions of this law, shall be designated as "Water Users' Asso- <br />ciation No. in the Colorado River Water Conservation <br />Distriot." or as "Special Improvement District No. in <br />the Colorado River Water Conservation District." Each sub- <br />district shall be numbered consecutively as created or organ- <br />ized. The board of directors. the engineers, attorneys. <br />secretary and other officers, agents and employees of the <br />district. so far as it may be necessary. shall serve i~ the <br />same capacity for such subdivisions or subdistricts. A <br />contract and agreement between the main district and the sub- <br />district may be made in the same manner as contracts and <br />agreements between two districts. (1937). <br /> <br />150-7-9. Petition. - (1) Before any subdistrict shall be <br />established under this article, a petition shall be filed in <br />the office of the clerk of the district court of the county <br />in which the territory to be embraced in said subdistrict. <br />or the greater part thereof is situate. signed by the board <br />of directors of the district or by a majority of the owners <br />of land situate within the limits of the territory proposed <br />to be organized into a subdistrict. <br /> <br />(b) The proposed name of said subdistrict. whetqer it <br />shall be designated "Water Users' Association No. in the <br />Colorado River Water Conservation District." or "Special Im- <br />provement District No. in the Colorado River Water <br />Conservation District"; <br /> <br />(c) That property within the proposed subdistrict will be <br />benefited by the proposed reservoirs, ditches, canals, works <br />or other improvements, and setting forth in a general way the <br />nature and estimated cost thereof. together with a general <br />statement of the nature of the anticipated benefits to be <br />derived therefrom; <br /> <br />(d) A full description of the territory to be included <br />in the proposed subdistrict.
