<br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />specified, designated amount against the lands in said <br />special improvement district. payable out of special assess- <br />ments or by general obligations of such special improvement <br />districtsr <br /> <br />(8) To contract with the United States government, the <br />bureau of reclamation, or other agencies of the United States <br />government, for the construction of any such works and the <br />issuance of such obligations as the special improvement dis- <br />tricts may have the power to issue in payment of costs of con- <br />struction and maintenance of said worksr <br /> <br />(9) To have and to exercise the power of eminent domain <br />to acquire ditches, reservoirs or other works or lands or <br />rights-af-way therefor which said districtcor' any, subdivision <br />thereof, or special improvement districtscreated'pursuailt to <br />the power hereby conferred, may need to carry out the plans <br />of said district or the improvement distribts therein, and <br />in general to exercise any and all rights and powers of <br />eminent domain conferred upon other agencies as provided in. <br />chapter 50, C.R.S. 1963r <br /> <br />(10) To file upon and hold for the use of the public <br />sufficient water of any natural stream to maintain a coastant <br />stream flow in the amount necessary to preserve fish, and to <br />use such water in connection with retaining ponds for the <br />propagation of fish for the benefit of the public: <br /> <br />(11) To exercise such implied powers and perform sueh <br />other acts as may be necessary to carry out and effect a~ <br />of the express powers hereby conferred upon such district. <br />(1937). <br /> <br />150-7-6. Principal office - meetinqs. - The board of <br />directors of said district shall designate a place within <br />the district Where the principal office is to be maintained <br />and may change such place from time to time. Regular quar- <br />terly meetings of said board shall be held at said office on <br />the third Tuesday in the months of January, April, July lltld <br />October. The board shall also be empowered to hold such <br />special meetings as may be required for the proper transac- <br />tion of business. Special meetings may be called by the <br />president of the board or by any three directors. Meetings <br />of the board shall be public and proper minutes of the pro- <br />ceedings of said board shall be preserved and shall be opea <br />to the inspection of any elector of the district during <br />business hours. (1937). <br />
