Water Storage Development Projects <br />Continue supporting large and small water development <br />projects across the state, Some of these projects will ben- <br />efit both M & I and agricultural users, Even those which <br />benefit only M & I users will improve the reliability of all <br />water supplies in the face of increasing M & I demands <br />and commitments to environmental preservation and re- <br />covery. <br /> <br />D. Governmental Action <br />Seek governmental action for planning for the state's wa- <br />ter needs, This should thoroughly document existing and <br />future water supplies, demands and potential shortages to <br />assure the development of an aggressive long-term (50 to <br />100 year) strategy to develop water supplies. Actively <br />participate in state water planning in order to assure that <br />the long-term interests of the state's agricultural commu- <br />nity are accurately represented, <br /> <br />E, Funding Alternatives <br />Explore funding alternatives for further State of Colo- <br />rado funding of water project development. <br /> <br />9-3 <br /> <br />__ COLOraDO <br />.._ Farm Bureau <br />
