The Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists THE AUTHORS GLENN GRAHAM Glenn R. Graham graduated from the University of Redlands in Redlands, California in 1965 with a B.S. in Geology. After graduation he was employed by Core Laboratories, Inc., working in California, ..Alaska, South America, and the Rocky Moun- tains doing core analysis and well site geology. In 1978 he joined CSG Exploration, a subsidiary of Cities Service Gas Company, exploring for gas in the Piceance and Greater Green River Basins. In 1986, Glenn joined the Colorado Division of Water Resources, an agency of the Colorado Department of Nat- ural Resources. He served as Senior Geologist in the Geo- technical Services Branch of the Division from 1992 until his retirement in June, 2004, focusing primarily on the administration and evaluation of the Denver Basin bedrock aquifers. Glenn is now a consulting ground water geologist. He can be reached at Grgle@cs.com. GEORGE VANSLYKE George VanSlyke is a gradu- ate of San Diego State Uni- versity. His experience as an engineering and ground- water geologist began in California where he worked for seven years with the California Department of Water Resources and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. In 1973 he moved to Den- ver and worked with the Colorado Division of Water Resources until his retire- ment in December of 2003. During his 30 years with the Division he was Chief of the Geotechnical Services Branch and was in charge of geohydrologic investiga- tions including development of data and maps for the Denver Basin Rules in 1985.
