5.9.1 Current L TWO Measures

The Little Thompson Water District currently has limited the use of incentives for the
use of water efficient techniques to requiring that all water be metered and paid for by
the user. The surcharge has been the only real water conservation incentive used by
the District. The L TWD currently encourages large volume water users to purchase
their own water rights from NCWCD and assign those rights to their L TWD taps, which
encourages water conservation by these large volume users.

5.9.2 Plans for Future L TWO Measures

The Little Thompson Water District does not plan to provide any new incentives for
water efficient techniques. The L TWD plans to continue to encourage large volume
water users to purchase their own water rights from NCWCD and assign those rights to
their District taps.
