", on June 28, 1971, the Coun- <br />cil appointed a Committee to examine the problems associated <br />with weather modification in Colorado. The Council believed <br />such a study was needed, because controversies which are <br />beginning to result from the increasing number of weather <br />modification projects throughout the state indicate that ex- <br />isting weather modification statutes are inadequate. <br /> <br />In accordance with the above discussed action, the <br />Legislative Council herewith submits the accompanying report <br />and recommendations pertaining to matters of weather modifi- <br />cation. <br /> <br />The report of the Committee appointed to carry out <br />this study was accepted by the Legislative Council for trans- <br />mittal to the Governor and the Second Regular Session of the <br />Forty-eighth Colorado General Assembly. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Isl Representative C.
