This water conservation plan will combine several plans addressing water conservation in the
City. Council has continually provided consistent direction with regard to raw water supply.

This draft plan will be presented to City Council for approval, with a 60 day review period
following Council action,

Following are sample notices used for soliciting public comment in the Conservation Plan:

City of Lafayette is having a public meeting to discuss the adoption of a Water
Conservation Plan. The plan is available at City Hall located at 1290 S. Public
Road, Lafayette CO 80026, or call [phone] to obtain a copy, You are
invited to attend the CoUncil meeting to make comments on the conservation plan
at the March 18, 1997 City Council Meeting. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM
with the agenda posted on the Council Chamber window. Comments will be
solicited for 60 days with final acceptance by the Council on May 6, 1997.
