General weather
modifiers are required to submit at ieast five and as many
as seven reports. In an effort to streamline this process
while maintaining the public safety, OPR recommends that
the statutory language be changed to require a bi-weekly
report and an annual summary report that includes the
operation of the project. If the project is completed, then a
final scientific evaiuation of the project be delivered to the
DNR within 180 days. OPR recommends that the
preliminary scientific evaluation be removed as a
requirement. Additionally, OPR recommends that ground-
-based -winter -cloud- seeding- project- evaluation reports-
include a scientific evaluation of the affected area.

Recommendation 2 - . OPR recommends that the
preliminary scientific evaluation be removed. as a
requirement. Additionally, OPR recommends that ground-
based winter cloud seeding project evaluation reports
include a scientific evatuation of the affected area.

Section 36-20-113, C.R.S. provides that:

The lee for each permit or the renewal thereof.
shall be at a minimum of one hundred dollars.
