The 22" transmission line and a portion of <br />the 14" transmission line are steel. Most water lines were installed in the early 1960s <br />when the District was formed. <br /> <br />Section 3. Water Use <br /> <br />3.1 Annual Water Use <br /> <br />Each year since 1991, ELCO has received approximately 2,900 acre feet of treated <br />water from the Soldier Canyon Filter Plant. An unusually hot, dry summer in 1994 <br />contributed to a record annual use of 3,072 acre feet.
