CONCLUSIOflj,

The Water Conservation Program of the Department of Natural
Resources has set efficient residential use as a major goal. Indirectly,
this can provide immense savings in capital by reducing the need for large
scale public works projects in the future. This applies to both water and
energy resources,
The Ideal Energy Program started by Public Service Co. of Colorado is
an excellent example of providing a means of cooperation among various
interrelated interest groups, We would like to contribute further to this
effort, and feel that the incorporation of water conserving fixtures into
new home construction would be a source of both energy and resource
efficiency, as well as an excellent public relations tool.

6
