5.0 Statement ofNWCWD's role ofwater use efficiency

The Dis1rict's role would be to make information available to it's customers on water use
efficiency wbether thru a IlIlWSletter or a lilll1Ily or both and to continue to give assis1ance to customers
in finding their leaks, NWCWD also needs to continue it's efforts in redueing unaeeowted water.

Another endeavor of the District's is to install another main line around the north side ofFt
Collins. Currently NWCWD only has one line capable of suppling the District's needs, In the past,
when this line has developed a leak, it sometimes could not be shut down until materials and
IIIIIIlpOW\:f could be assembled, wasting copious amounts of water. A new line capable of supplying
the Districts needs would permit the immediate shut down of either one of the two lines thus saving
water,

Page 7
