<br />Production Variables <br /> <br />The amount of water produced each year is influenced by several variables, including the <br />number of people served and amount of precipitation. For Loveland, approximately 75 per- <br />cent of annual water production is used for irrigation from April to October, The amount of <br />precipitation during the watering season greatly effects the amount of water produced. Al- <br />though precipitation can effect overall water demand, it does not necessarily effect peak day <br />demand, <br /> <br />Table 18 compares water production from 1990 to 1995 with the service population, peak <br />day demand and precipitation, Table 19 shows temperature and precipitation for peak 3-day <br />periods. <br /> <br />Table 18.
