SECTION 5. PUBLIC PROCESS

The City will actively seek input from its customers. The City will publish a draft Plan, give
public notice of the Plan, make the Plan publicly available and solicit comments from the
public for a period of not less than sixty (60) days after the date on which the draft Plan is
made publicly available.

The City's goal is to maintain and promote a good relationship with our customers by
evaluating the community's impression of water service, quality and conservation. The goal
of efficient water use is shared by the City Council, employees and many interested citizens.
Through these joint efforts, the City will work toward reducing and eliminating water waste
while providing the water resources necessary to sustain our community. We invite anyone
interested in participating in this on-going dialogue to call the City Water Department at 970-
