TIMELINE

Note: AU of the following activities will be performed by the Fort
Collins Water Utility, with Jim Clark as Project Supervisor,
unless otherwise indicated.

Develop specific workplan and timeline. (Water Utility, with input
from Office of Water Conservation.)

Inform all Water Utility staff potentially involved.

Develop the project contract. (Office of Water Conservation, with
input from Water Utility.)

Complete necessary city and state administrative requirements
necessary to sign contract. (Office of Water Conservation and Water
Utility. )

Develop the necessary literature, including; homeowner participant
solicitation literature, lawn watering information, and the homeowner
participant information packet and contract.

Identify targeted residential subdivisions for the study.

Design necessary spreadsheets and tables.

Recruit SO Group 1 homeowners within the targeted residential
subdivisions that will amend their soil and install their landscaping
between 9/2S/92 and 5/31/93. Provide them with the Group 1
information packet. Get soil amendment verifications and signed
contracts. Mail checks to each for 5100.

Recruit 50 Group 2 homeowners within the targeted residential
subdivisions that will be installing their landscaping between 9/25/92
and 5/31/93, without amending their soil. Provide them with the
Group 2 participant information packet. Get signed contracts. Mail
checks to each for S25.

Gather necessary data from the 100 homeowners via returned
surveys, City records, and field observations.
