As you know, there has been
some miscommunications regarding the review of Boulder's Water Conservation Plan. CWCB has re-
reviewed the Plan based on the criteria that was in place at the time the Plan was originally submitted. The
plan has now been accepted and approved as fulfilling all the requirements of Section 37-60-126,
CRS (HB91-1l54).

Boulder's plan will be kept on file with the Colorado Water Conservation Board. It will also be made available
to the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority, if the City should apply for a loan with
either agency.

Due to the nature and intent of the above Statute and Bill for implementation of water conservation measures,
the state Office of Water Conservation and Drought Planning may, in the future, contact the City of Boulder to
discuss how conservation planning is proceeding.

Thank you again for your Plan. We would like to receive an electronic copy of the Plan (if possible). Feel
free to call our office any time, if you should have a question or need further assistance.

Q~

Rick Brown
Acting Deputy Director

c: Dan Law, CWR&PDA
Mike Brod, CWR&PDA
Barry Cress DOLA
Bruce Johnson, CWCB

Flood Protecti'on .
