The Little Thompson Water District. recently received a $5,000 grant to establish a water conservation. resource library for children and adults. The Colorado Water Con- servation Board awarded the money to purchase books, CD-Roms and video tapes about home water conserva- tion and xeriscape gardening. The district is working on the resource library with the Berthoud Public Library. The Berthoud Library will devote a grouping of shelves to the materials, says director Ro- berta Depp, Several hundred books will be ordered. "It's kind of tough to find xeriscape materials," said Depp. "Boulder and Denver (libraries) have some, but no one has a really large col1ec- tion.
