<br />CAPITOL COMPLEX FACILITIES <br />WATER AUDIT REPORT <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />In conjunction with HB 91-1154, the Water Conservation Act of 1991, <br />Capitol Complex Facilities has undertaken the task of auditing the <br />water consumption in those facilities for which we are responsible. <br />Our intent, as prescribed by this bill, is to promote and implement <br />sound measures to enhance water use efficiency in order to serve <br />the current water needs of the State, to assure the availability of <br />an adequate supply for future uses, and to assist the State in <br />maintaining a reasonable cost structure for these water services. <br /> <br />To this end, we are in process of completing an inventory of our <br />facilities to determine the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Water efficiency <br />including water <br />faucets. <br /> <br />of existing fixtures and appliances, <br />closets, urinals, showerheads and <br /> <br />2. Low water-use landscaping and efficient irrigation <br />systems. <br /> <br />3. Water-efficiency of mechanical processes and systems. <br /> <br />4. Water reuse systems, both potable and non-potable. <br /> <br />5. Water distribution system leakage. <br /> <br />6.
