<br />this type of contract could be a useful supply alternative in some instances and most <br />agreed that the District should investigate their use within the C-BT service area. <br /> <br />Need Cor more inCormation <br /> <br />As discussed above, in the section outlining the District's public involvement <br />efforts in connection with this study, many of the comments received indicated a need for <br />more information and explanation regarding the nature and use of interruptible supply <br />contracts. A number of commenters, from both the municipal and agricultural sides, <br />explicitly said that they needed more information before they could form meaningful <br />opinions about these arrangements. This underlines the need for ongoing educational <br />efforts aimed at the public generally, as well as measures aimed at potential participants <br />who will have a need for more detailed and specific information. <br /> <br />16 <br />
