The exact amount of money spent for middle school equipment <br />should be available from the Woodmoor Water and Sanitation District. <br />ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT: : <br />The money available from the grant was not sufficient for all of the equipment I <br />needed for this effort. Consequently I solicited money and equipment from other sources <br />to support the water training program. This is a list of most of that equipment. <br />Personal Science Laboratory (PSL) <br />An analog-to-digital device for measuring environmental factors and processing the <br />measurements in a computer. Money for this device was requested and received from the <br />Public Education Coalition. This device was used for temperature measurements during <br />the water change of state activities and for pH measurements during the teaching of this <br />aspect of water. <br /> <br />MS-DOS Computer <br /> <br />An MS-DOS computer was required to operate the PSL and none was available from the <br />school. 1 got a number of computer carcass' from US West and used the parts to build an <br />operational computer for the PSL. <br />HyperCHEM <br /> <br />No molecular modeling software was available to the classroom. 1 asked the <br />AutoDESK corporation for a package of the HyperCHEM software as a grant and they <br />agreed. <br /> <br />. <br />
