CO 80203

Dear Colorado Water Conservation Board,

We support water conservation in Canon City and adjoining areas
100%. We commend the City of Canon City for their decision to further
promote zericape and educate our public on the need to conserve water.
Water conservation has been a major portion of our workload for many
years. Many persons with existing lawns will not be able to convert
to zeroscape landscaping. These persons need much education on actual
lawn water needs through the promoting of learning lawn
evapotranspiration needs by the use of a modern weather station to
obtain this valuable data easily on a daily basis.

Let us know how we can work together to promote this worthwhile
project.

VI~/

Burl Boren
Resource Conservationist

BBljb

cc: file
City of Canon City, Becky Werthen'~

File Code: 7B6CWCB
