RULING DF THE REFEREE

The undersigned water referee~ having investigated

the matter of the application on file herein, hereby mokes

the following findings and rul ing thereon:

1. That the said appl ication concerns Big Butts

Lake located in Delta County, Colorado, and used for such

minimum flows as are required to preserve the natural envi-

ronment to a reasonable degree, and the claim for appropria-

tiorl is made under the provisions of C.R.S. 1973, 37-92-103(3),

(4) and (10).

2. That appl icant has furnished acceptable proof

as to.claims made.

3. That.the said application was filed on December

30, 1977.

4. That the water cl erk caused publ i cat i on of such

fil iog as provided by statute; that the time for fit ing

statements of opposition expired on the last day of February,

1978.
