<br />WATER STORAGE RIGHT <br /> <br />NAME OF LAKE: Upper Goodwin Lake. <br /> <br />LOCATION: The lake being a naturally occurring body has no <br />dam. 'fhe lake is located at 38 degs. 43' 3011 North Latitude <br />and 105 degs. 37' 30" West Longitude in custer county, Colorado. <br />'rhe section lines in this area are largely unsurveyed and so <br />exact location is impossible. The natural water elevation is <br />approximately 11,580 feet. <br /> <br />SOURCE OF WATER: Goodwin Creek as well as snow melt, <br />prec~pl.tat1on runoff, and other natural sources. <br /> <br />PRIORITY DATE: January 14, 1976, provided, however, that this <br />right shall be junior to all priorities awarded <br />in cases filed prior to 1976, and otherwise <br />junior as provioed in CRG 1973, 37-92-306. <br /> <br />AJIOUNT OF WATER: Approximately 16 acre feet. <br /> <br />USE OF WATER: To insure the maintenance of such minimum flows <br />as are requ1red to preserve the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree. <br /> <br />TOTAL CAPACITY OF LAKE: Approximately 16 acre feet. <br /> <br />I'l' IS FUR'l'I-IER ORDERED That Applicant shall install and <br /> <br />maintain such water measurement devices, recording devices, <br /> <br />content gauges and inlet and outlet measurement and recording <br /> <br />devices, as the case may be, as are deemed essential by the <br /> <br />Office of the State Engineer, and the same shall be installed <br /> <br />and operated in accordance with instructions from said Office. <br /> <br />IT IS FURTHER ORDERED That copies of this ruling shall <br /> <br />be mailed as provided by statute. <br /> <br />Dated and filed with the Water Clerk this 27th day of <br /> <br />Octoher <br /> <br />, A.
