GpLpRAbp <br /> Colorado Water <br /> Conservation Board <br /> DuWj,cr, rn of Nawrai n«s <br /> Last Updated: June 2020 <br /> Task 1-Electrical installation (Objective 1.a) <br /> Description of Task: <br /> CSU/IIC will work with an electrical contractor to design and install electrical lines to power the booster <br /> pump and its controller as well as lines to power the VRI center pivot and drip irrigation system. <br /> Method/Procedure: <br /> CSU/IIC will hire an electrical contractor to design and install the electrical lines from the on-site transformer <br /> to the booster pump,VRI center pivot,and drip irrigation system.Approximately 1,300 linear feet of wiring <br /> and electrical conduit will be installed,along with associated pull (junction)boxes. <br /> Deliverable: <br /> • Electrical design <br /> • Electrical power connections for the booster pump,VRI center pivot,and drip irrigation system <br /> Task 2-Mainline and booster pump installation(Objective 1.a) <br /> Description of Task: <br /> CSU/IIC will work with Aqua Engineering Inc.to connect a booster pump (donated)to an existing well <br /> (CSURF Well#4)at IIC HQ.The booster pump will control irrigation water flow to the different irrigation <br /> systems (sprinkler system for grass reference ETo plot,VRI center pivot,and drip irrigation).Mainline pipes <br /> will be installed to connect the booster pump to the various irrigation systems. <br /> Method/Procedure: <br /> An 8-inch pipe connection will be installed from Well#4 to the booster pump,which will be mounted on a <br /> concrete pad.The pump will be connected to electrical power (Task 1).The booster pump will be fitted with <br /> winterization,filtration,vacuum relief valve,and isolation gate valve assemblies.Approximately 2,500 linear <br /> feet of 6-inch mainline pipe will be installed to convey pressurized water from the booster pump to the <br /> various irrigation systems at IIC HQ. <br /> Deliverable: <br /> • Functional booster pump that will control irrigation water flow from an existing well (Well#4)to <br /> various irrigation systems at IIC HQ. <br /> • Mainline pipes to convey pressurized irrigation water to various irrigation systems at IIC HQ. <br /> • Pipe hydraulic operation test reports <br /> CWP Grant Application 112 <br />
